My practice started in 2011. I wanted to provide compassionate care that always inspires hope and faith. I’m a Christian believer in Jesus, and I believe we’re under grace. With health, as in all things, we face challenges to our faith, but I always lean into God’s promises and believe for the best outcome. I named the practice Abundant Life Healthcare because Jesus came to give us life more abundant, and every day I see that when a child is born into this world—more life, abundant and good.

Beyond great outcomes, our ultimate mission is to let patients know they are cared for, they are loved, and above all, that in everything we do, they can see God’s love for them as well.

We provide evidence-based medicine, but we tailor it to each patient because every patient is unique. We blend clinical guidelines with listening to each patient’s values and life situation.

We have the lowest, or among the lowest, C-section rates at Northside Gwinnett according to hospital statistics. I’m also one of the very few OB-GYN providers in Gwinnett who can speak Spanish directly to my patients. We offer vaginal births after C-sections in properly screened patients. Additionally, we provide personalized hormone replacement therapy, and our prices are significantly better than our competitors.

I get to know my patients and interact with them to help them feel at ease. I try to be compassionate and put myself in their shoes. I look at all my patients as if they were my wife, my sister, my mother, or my daughters—and treat them the way I’d want someone to care for my own family.

Every baby born is a proud moment. Every patient we help health-wise—whether navigating a high-risk pregnancy, alleviating pelvic pain or heavy bleeding, or addressing the embarrassment of leaking urine—is a proud moment. It’s not about me or the practice’s growth. Everything is about the patients. We have an extremely high success rate, and that in itself is what makes us proud.

I just try to be authentic. I don’t try to be anybody else—I’m who I am. My aim is to always operate in God’s love. Love is patient, kind, protective, and persevering. I’m a lighthearted, jovial person who’s willing to crack a corny dad joke. Authenticity is the best way to disarm people because they can tell when you’re being genuine.

My wife had a C-section and we felt her doctor didn’t give her enough time to deliver vaginally. With a midwife and colleagues, she was able to deliver our two boys vaginally. This taught me we can be careful but still give patients every fair chance at vaginal delivery. My mother went through a tough menopause and wanted hormone replacement therapy. We treated her, and her quality of life improved drastically. This reinforces my commitment to using hormone therapy to restore quality of life when appropriate.

Whether it’s missionary work or community service—giving talks and educating patients on health—these moments remind me why I love medicine. In our day-to-day we deal with excessive charting, fighting insurance companies, maintaining licenses and board certification—none of which is actual patient care and can be frustrating. But missionary work and volunteer service is just pure medicine, sharing knowledge with no red tape. It’s always a reminder and refresher of why we do what we do.

I wanted a noble career where I could help people. My father is an OB-GYN as well, and he’s been a big inspiration for what I do.

I’m a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Georgia OB-GYN Society, and the American Medical Association.

I decided during my second year in college.

My father was the biggest inspiration. I saw the sacrifice he makes—not just for his patients, but the hours and rigor of our specialty. I saw him as a servant to others and to his family. Combined with my faith—Jesus, though God, walking among us, became a servant to all—this inspired me to serve others, even when it’s exhausting at times.
